This project invites learners to design and develop a focused, AI-powered web application for SkildLabs that generates dynamic estimates for online course development costs. The tool will allow users—such as educators, instructional designers, and entrepreneurs—to input course parameters (e.g., length, media type, interactivity level), and receive accurate cost estimates in real time.


Deliverables

Learners will embark on an exciting journey that includes:


  • Analyzing Initial Requirements: Understand the core idea behind the AI-Powered Online Course Cost Estimator and its relevance to users.
  • AI Integration: Work with AI models, such as OpenAI API and Gemini API, to interpret user inputs dynamically.
  • Testing: Implement unit tests, debug issues, and ensure the application delivers accurate results.


The application development process will include work with React, Supabase and Github via Lovable. 


The deliverables include:

  • A two page web application (Prompt and Results pages)
  • Functional application deployed via Lovable and Supabase
