It will enable companies within the specific industry to be aware of industry and economic trends and enable them to plan company strategic priorities accordingly.
Students will:
- Capture user requirements regarding industry forecasting
- Create a Use Case for industry forecasting
- Flow Chart the model processes
- Develop the model
- Test the model and
- Complete the working model to produce forecasts
Students will have access to professionals: lead developer, business analyst, project manager, systems administrator as well as a development cloud site (stack: Linux, PostgreSQL, python, Django, React). Data sources include government open data sites.
