This may or may not use blockchain technology. The system must be scalable to accommodate different sizes and kinds of business from services and retail to small manufacturing. This program will enable small businesses to conduct local business transactions using barter credits to promote local and regional supply chains and economic re-investment.
The system needs to integrate into our existing IT stack. Our IT stack includes Linux OS, PostgreSQL, Python, Django and React. The program needs to align with generally accepted accounting practices, be reliable, secure, and appear intuitive for small business users.
Work is to be conducted with remote/online work on a central development site and flexible work hours, supplemented with video-conference meetings. A senior developer is available for support.
